Rome, NY | Full-Time | Hospital-Based | $50–$60/hour | $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Supervisor to lead daily operations within a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine Department. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, including regulatory compliance, radiation safety, accreditation, quality, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Nuclear Medicine Department operations and staff.

• Ensure compliance with NRC, NYSDOH, and radiation safety requirements.

• Manage Radioactive Materials License renewals and amendments.

• Maintain ACR accreditation and survey readiness.

• Partner with the Radiation Safety Officer on personnel monitoring programs.

• Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures.

• Supervise Nuclear Medicine Technologists and support staff development.

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients as needed.

• Promote high standards of patient care, safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

• CNMT certification required; ARRT (NM) preferred.

• Acute care hospital experience preferred.

• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of NRC regulations, radiation safety, ACR accreditation, and NYSDOH requirements.
