Nuclear Medicine Supervisor
Rome, NY | Full-Time | Hospital-Based | $50–$60/hour | $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Supervisor to lead daily operations within a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine Department. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, including regulatory compliance, radiation safety, accreditation, quality, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily Nuclear Medicine Department operations and staff.
Ensure compliance with NRC, NYSDOH, and radiation safety requirements.
Manage Radioactive Materials License renewals and amendments.
Maintain ACR accreditation and survey readiness.
Partner with the Radiation Safety Officer on personnel monitoring programs.
Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures.
Supervise Nuclear Medicine Technologists and support staff development.
Perform nuclear medicine procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients as needed.
Promote high standards of patient care, safety, quality, and efficiency.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
CNMT certification required; ARRT (NM) preferred.
Acute care hospital experience preferred.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of NRC regulations, radiation safety, ACR accreditation, and NYSDOH requirements.
