Position OverviewWe are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)to join our healthcare team on a full-time basis.The CNA provides hands-on resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and plays an important role in maintaining each resident’s comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Assist residents with transfers, repositioning, mobility, and ambulation while following proper safety techniques.
  • Take and record vital signs as directed.
  • Perform comfort and safety rounds and respond promptly to resident needs and call lights.
  • Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition, behavior, or other concerns to the licensed nursing staff.
  • Provide care according to the resident’s care plan and established facility procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility protocols.
  • Protect resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, CNAs, and other members of the healthcare team to provide quality resident care.
Qualifications
  • Active and valid CNA certification.
  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Assistant Training Program.
  • CPR/BLS certification, if required by the facility.
  • Ability to safely assist with resident transfers, repositioning, mobility, and other hands-on care.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team.
  • Long-term care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or post-acute care experience preferred.
Scope of the CNA RoleCNAs provide hands-on resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. The role includes assisting with ADLs, transfers, repositioning, feeding, toileting, vital signs, comfort rounds, and reporting changes in a resident’s condition.CNAs are expected to perform duties within their training, certification, and applicable scope of practice. Licensed nursing assessments, medication administration, development of care plans, and treatments outside the CNA scope are not part of the CNA role.What We ValueWe are looking for team members who are:
