Electrician

Sunrise Farms located near Harris, Iowa

This position is essential in the operations of our 27 layer barns, feed mill, and grounds.

Essential Job Duties:

• Be a great communicator.
• Troubleshooting a variety of issues with 12/24/110/220/480 power
• Able to work on contactors, overloads, transfer switches, and frequency drives
• Ability to facilitate new construction and remodeling electrical components.
• Complete preventive maintenance and projects timely.
• Understand safety regulations and abide by them.
• Follow all bio-security guidelines.

Qualifications:

Experience in animal agriculture and or a technical degree in an electric field desired. Willing to train the right person.

Physical Requirements:

Be able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Able to work from elevated positions
