About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person support and supervision for an SLP Aide in Alpharetta, GA. The SLP will provide professional guidance, oversee services, monitor student progress, and collaborate with school staff to ensure students receive appropriate speech and language support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and professional support to the SLP Aide.
- Oversee speech and language services provided to students.
- Monitor student progress and ensure appropriate documentation.
- Provide guidance regarding speech-language interventions and treatment strategies.
- Collaborate with school staff and other related service providers.
- Ensure services are provided in accordance with applicable professional and educational requirements.
- Support students in achieving their communication and language goals.
- Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License/Certification required.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred/required as applicable.
- Experience working with school-aged students preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide effective supervision and guidance to an SLP Aide.
