Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Deliver physical therapy interventions according to the PT plan of care
  • Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately
  • Assist with patient education and home exercise programs to support independence
  • Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards
  • Help patients restore mobility and achieve their treatment goals in a supportive environment
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active state PTA license or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Education
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
  • Physical therapy interventions and treatment techniques
  • Clinical documentation and patient records
  • Patient education and home exercise program instruction
  • Clear communication with patients, families, and team members
  • Infection control and safety protocols
