Job Description
$36–$45+ per hour | Company Vehicle | Lead Local Commercial Projects
Oakland • Macomb • Lapeer Counties
Lead Projects for a Contractor That Plans Ahead
E.L. Electrical Contracting has served Southeast Michigan for over 27 years, specializing in organized new commercial construction and renovation projects including schools, churches, fire stations, municipal facilities, and professional office buildings.
We build long-term crews and promote from within.
As our commercial project pipeline continues to grow, we are selectively connecting with experienced Commercial Electrical Foremen who can take ownership of projects in the field and lead strong crews.
Compensation
$36–$45+ per hour
(Based on leadership ability, project management skill, and production)
• Company vehicle (qualified foreman)
• Health Insurance
• 401(k) with company contributions
• Paid Vacation
• Paid Holidays
• Profit Sharing
• Consistent, year-round commercial work
• Mostly local projects — home most nights
What You Can Expect
• Mid-sized commercial projects (not chaotic mega-jobs)
• Organized material coordination
• Project management support
• Clear communication from office to field
• Professional job sites and strong safety standards
We plan projects months ahead.
We don’t leave foremen scrambling.
We don’t overstaff or under-support crews.
Our goal is simple: to give strong leaders the structure to run clean, profitable jobs.
What We Look For
• Michigan Journeyman Electrician License
• Proven experience running commercial projects
• Strong blueprint reading and layout ability
• Ability to manage crew productivity and scheduling
• Professional communication with GCs, inspectors, and clients
• Leadership mindset and accountability
If you are currently running commercial work but feel under-supported, under-recognized, or buried in disorganization — we welcome a confidential conversation.
Not Actively Looking?
Currently employed but open to something more stable, organized, and long-term?
We handle all conversations discreetly and professionally.
No pressure. No obligation. Just a discussion about leadership fit.
