Job Description
Snelling is recruiting an experienced Low Voltage Maintenance Technician for an Engineering company in the Trafford, AL area.
Schedule: Monday - Friday. Weekends as needed (primarily when on a job site)
Starting Pay: $20.00-30.00/hr, based on experience
Travel: Travel up to 50% to job sites nationwide. Opportunity for global travel.
Responsibilities for Low Voltage Maintenance Technician:
- Install, maintain, and repair low-voltage electrical systems and equipment
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic testing to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Terminate low-voltage cabling whilst following control prints
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules and equipment repairs
Required Qualifications for Low Voltage Maintenance Technician:
- 2+ years of experience working with industrial controls and low-voltage systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret electrical controls prints and schematics
- Proficiency in detecting electrical malfunctions using precision measuring instruments
- Experience calibrating and adjusting electrical systems for optimal performance
- Familiarity with E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) practices and procedures
- Field service experience, preferably in low-voltage systems
