Roles & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists to bring personalized treatment plans to life
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises that build strength, mobility, balance, and coordination
  • Support safe transfers and ambulation, helping patients regain confidence and independence
  • Track and document each patient's progress, celebrating every milestone
  • Empower patients and caregivers with education on exercises, movement techniques, and safety precautions
  • Utilize therapeutic equipment and modalities under the direction of the Physical Therapist
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation that supports high-quality care
  • Champion facility policies and infection-control standards to keep everyone safe
Qualifications
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in California or eligibility to obtain one
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to safely assist with patient transfers and mobility
Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques
  • Understanding of patient documentation and medical terminology
  • Ability to use therapeutic equipment and modalities
  • Compassion and a patient-centered approach
  • Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
