Overview:

The Closer finalizes sales deals by ensuring all paperwork, pricing, and customer details are correct and compliant. This position works closely with sales and finance departments to expedite the delivery process while maintaining transparency and professionalism.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in negotiating and closing deals to drive customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
• Get involved early with every customer on the lot, and touch the desk before the customer leaves
• Help salespeople work up deals, structure numbers, and overcome objections before and during the desk process
• Assist in managing the log, driving appointments, and following up on missed deals
• Support salespeople in hitting their monthly unit minimums and up-to-sale targets
• Ensure accurate records of customer interactions are maintained in CRM and on the customer log
• Help the team stay on pace with daily appointment-setting and monthly CSI goals
• Assist with training salespeople on the sales process, credit script, and features/advantages/benefits (FAB)
• Review deal folders for accuracy and completeness
• Update the F&I Manager on opportunities available with each customer after a deal is closed

Requirements:

 

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an automotive salesperson, closer, or desk manager preferred
• Strong negotiation, communication, and coaching skills
• Solid understanding of the automotive sales process, credit, and F&I handoff
• Comfortable working the floor and coaching salespeople in real time
• Working knowledge of dealership CRM systems
• Goal-oriented with a track record of hitting sales KPIs
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
