- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Respond to employee and manager payroll questions
- Complete payroll, benefit, 401(k), Workers’ Compensation, and month-end reconciliations
- Prepare and reconcile payroll-related billbacks
- Manage payroll calendars, deadlines, documentation, and procedures
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve payroll operations
- Partner closely with Human Resources and Accounting
- Supervise and support Payroll Assistant staff
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of payroll and/or benefits experience
- Demonstrated experience independently managing full-cycle payroll
- Experience supporting payroll populations of approximately 200+ employees preferred
- Strong understanding of payroll taxes, compliance, and reconciliations
- Experience working with multi-state payroll
- Ability to work independently and adapt when priorities or processes change
- ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus
If you are an experienced payroll professional who enjoys owning the process, solving complex issues, and finding better ways to get the work done, we’d like to hear from you.
