Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
The Occupational Therapist will provide skilled occupational therapy services to residents in our long-term care and rehabilitation setting, with a focus on improving independence, safety, functional abilities, and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on their needs and goals.
- Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to improve activities of daily living, functional mobility, strength, coordination, and independence.
- Assist residents with improving their ability to perform dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, and other daily activities.
- Provide adaptive equipment recommendations and training as appropriate.
- Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Accurately document evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge information.
- Communicate effectively with nursing, therapy staff, physicians, residents, and families.
- Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, applicable regulations, and professional standards.
- Promote resident dignity, safety, independence, and quality of life.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current New York State Occupational Therapist license required.
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric care preferred.
- Strong clinical, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
