We are seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers to join our team in Garfield Heights, OH. This is a full-time position supporting students through push-in/pull-out services as well as self-contained Autism (AU) classrooms. The Special Education Teacher will develop individualized instructional strategies, manage IEPs, and collaborate with school staff and families to support student success.

About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers to join our team in Garfield Heights, OH. This is a full-time position supporting students through push-in/pull-out services as well as self-contained Autism (AU) classrooms. The Special Education Teacher will develop individualized instructional strategies, manage IEPs, and collaborate with school staff and families to support student success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide push-in and pull-out special education services based on student needs.
- Provide instruction and support in self-contained AU classrooms.
- Develop and implement individualized instructional and behavioral strategies.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, support staff, and families.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support students in achieving academic, behavioral, communication, and social goals.
- Maintain a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment.
- Valid Ohio Special Education / Intervention Specialist License (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Experience working with students with disabilities; AU/Autism experience preferred.
- Experience with IEP development and implementation.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
