Job Description
RMB Products is seeking a Welder in the Chemical Department who is responsible for welding production hardware, tooling, fixturing, and production molds for assigned projects. This position performs MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials and provides additional fabrication and production support as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Weld production hardware, tooling, fixturing, and production molds.
- Perform weld preparation on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, predominantly in the 1-G, 3-G, and 6-G positions.
- Perform sawing and hand grinding to prepare materials and produce quality welds using MIG and TIG processes.
- Fabricate pipes and vessels of various sizes according to drawing specifications.
- Provide support to the Machine Shop and Production Molding departments as needed.
- Perform drilling, tapping, sawing, polishing, and burning of steel shapes and details.
- Roll rings for Rotational Molding projects.
- Perform additional production activities or assist other departments based on workload, staffing, training, and business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency with MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to produce welds that meet applicable quality, dimensional, and workmanship requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work according to industry and quality standards.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a production environment.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work safely and follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Willingness to work overtime, modified schedules, or additional hours as business needs require.
- 4+ years of related welding experience in addition to formal training preferred.
- Current welding certifications preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Crane and rigging certifications preferred.
- Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, accountability, and respect in all interactions.
- Work safely and comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Perform work in accordance with established quality standards, work instructions, and company policies.
