Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to patients and their families

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and treatment planning for mental health issues

• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans

• Participate in team meetings and present patient progress to ensure comprehensive care

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care

• Stay current with industry developments and best practices in mental health care

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field

• New York State licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
