WRS is partnering with an established industrial contractor seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Superintendent to lead field execution across large-scale electrical construction projects.

This position is ideal for a field-driven electrical leader with a strong industrial background who has experience managing multiple crews, coordinating complex installations, and maintaining high standards for safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of multiple electrical crews
  • Plan manpower, work sequencing, and daily/weekly field activities to maintain project schedules
  • Coordinate material, equipment, tools, and procurement requirements
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
  • Oversee installation of conduit, cable tray, electrical equipment, distribution systems, controls, and associated infrastructure
  • Supervise high- and low-voltage electrical installations and terminations
  • Oversee cable pulling, grounding systems, temporary power, and equipment installation
  • Coordinate equipment placement, rigging, and installation activities
  • Monitor field productivity, workmanship, and quality
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve field installation issues
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards, deficiencies, and installation concerns
  • Enforce project safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and electrical safe-work practices
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, other trades, clients, and project stakeholders
  • Maintain field documentation and communicate project progress to leadership
  • Lead crews through demanding industrial construction schedules while maintaining safety and quality expectations
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of electrical supervision experience within industrial construction
  • Strong background managing multiple electrical crews and field operations
  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician preferred
  • NCCER Industrial Journeyman Electrician certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical construction methods and systems
  • Experience working with high-voltage electrical systems
  • Knowledge of low-voltage systems, controls, distribution equipment, conduit, cable tray, and electrical terminations
  • Strong understanding of Lockout/Tagout procedures and electrical safety requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Strong understanding of electrical testing and troubleshooting procedures
  • Proven ability to manage manpower, productivity, materials, and project schedules
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
