Functions as a member of the Rehabilitation team. Evaluates and treats speech and language disorders for inpatients and outpatients, providing alternative/augmentative communication systems when needed; aid patient in functional communications, facilitating independence and promoting healing and education by utilizing knowledge of multi-disciplines, i.e., neurology, ortho, pulmonary medicines.
