Travel Respiratory Therapist - Vinton, IA | 3x12 Days | 13-Week Contract & Competitive Pay

This 13-week opportunity in Vinton offers exposure to emergency, acute-care and outpatient respiratory services within a critical-access environment. We’re seeking a CRT or RRT who can work independently, respond confidently to emergencies and support patients across multiple departments.

Assignment Details:
• Location: Vinton, Iowa
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start: ASAP
• Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Shift time: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Weekend and holiday rotation may be required
• Setting: Critical-access hospital
• Competitive compensation

Clinical Responsibilities:
• Deliver respiratory treatments to emergency and acute-care patients
• Support breathing treatments, incentive spirometry, MDI and CPT
• Assist with emergency ventilation and airway-management needs
• Perform outpatient EKGs and Holter monitor procedures
• Conduct six-minute stress walks and overnight oximetry setup
• Operate Philips EV300 and Philips Trilogy 202 ventilators
• Work with Airvo high-flow delivery equipment
• Document treatments, patient response and clinical findings
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the clinical team

Required Qualifications:
• CRT or RRT credential
• Active Iowa Respiratory Therapist license
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
• Recent acute-care, emergency or critical-care respiratory experience
• Ability to work independently in a smaller hospital environment
• Willingness to participate in weekend and holiday rotations
