Emoticare is looking for a Certified Special Education Teacher to join our compassionate team supporting youth in a behavioral health and therapeutic educational setting.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll support youth with emotional, behavioral, and academic needs through IEP-driven services within a therapeutic residential program. Work may include collaboration, consultation, documentation, and occasional direct instructional support. Services may be provided virtually or in a hybrid capacity.

You’ll work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team focused on helping students grow academically, emotionally, and behaviorally.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification

• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred in Special Education, Education, or Behavioral Health)

• Experience supporting students with emotional and behavioral needs preferred

• Strong understanding of IEPs, accommodations, and behavioral interventions

• Experience in therapeutic, residential, or alternative education settings preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
