Requirements for Certified Medication Aide / CNA:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or in the process of becoming certified

• Active Nebraska Certified Medication Aide certification or in the process of becoming certified

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Compassionate, reliable, and resident-focused attitude

Responsibilities of Certified Medication Aide / CNA:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Administer medications safely and accurately as directed by licensed nursing staff

• Monitor residents and report any changes in condition

• Document care and medication administration per facility policy

• Answer call lights and provide compassionate resident-centered care

• Work collaboratively with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to support resident well-being
