Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Technician in the INTRA CL specialty at a healthcare organization. This role involves assisting with a variety of interventional procedures, including neuro, vascular, and visceral studies, in a fast-paced clinical environment. The position requires knowledge of sterile procedures and interventional radiology equipment, working collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Job Details
- Position Description: IR Tech with an emphasis on interventional radiology, including neuro, vascular, and visceral procedures.
- Schedule: 8-hour day shift from 07:00 PM to 05:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Vocational training; graduate from School of Radiologic Technology recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS); Florida State License and/or RCIS; ARRT certification and/or RCIS; BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross; less than one year of general radiology experience with emphasis toward angio/interventional procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: No additional qualifications specified.
- Additional Information:
- Knowledge of sterile procedures, interventional procedures, and equipment.
- Scrubs and circulates for interventional procedures.
- Conduct interviews as scheduled by the unit manager.
- May take up to 14 business days for processing through Florida ACHA.
- No RTO during the first two weeks; maximum of 8 days RTO for the 13-week assignment.
- Mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination for the 20262027 season, with exceptions available upon submission of an exemption form.
