Engineering Technician III - Full-time

**Description** SAIC is looking for an Engineering Technician III in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy. **Job Duties Include:** + Provide test and evaluation, troubleshooting, lot acceptance, qualification, engineering analysis, documentation, procedure/process creation, shipment/receipt and vendor coordination of batteries + Provide test and evaluation of various battery chemistries, including Li-ion, Lithium Iron Disulfide, Lithium Calcium and Lead Acid + Support battery testing that will consist of testing temperature/humidity cycling, pressure/altitude, acceleration, vibration, and mechanical shock **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or related field. Additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree + Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
