Lillie Mae’s Cajun Kitchen is looking for energetic, friendly, and dependable Servers to join our team!

We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with people, provide excellent customer service, and can create a welcoming dining experience for every guest. If you have a great personality, strong work ethic, and enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, we want to meet you.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Server at Lillie Mae’s Cajun Kitchen, you will be responsible for providing friendly, attentive, and professional service from the moment guests arrive until they leave.

Our servers are expected to know the menu, make recommendations, accurately take orders, communicate with the kitchen, maintain their assigned dining areas, and ensure every guest receives the level of service that represents the Lillie Mae’s brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional attitude
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Enter orders correctly into the POS system
• Learn our menu, ingredients, specials, and popular dishes
• Make food and beverage recommendations to guests
• Upsell appetizers, specialty drinks, entrées, and desserts when appropriate
• Check on guests throughout their dining experience
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately
• Communicate special requests and guest concerns to the kitchen or management
• Process cash and credit card payments accurately
• Maintain clean and organized tables and server stations
• Reset and prepare tables for incoming guests
• Complete opening, closing, and assigned side work
• Assist other servers and team members during busy periods
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and alcohol-service policies
• Help create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for every guest
• Perform additional duties assigned by management

EXPERIENCE

Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

We are willing to train candidates who have the right personality, work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to safely carry food trays, dishes, and beverages
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Must have reliable transportation
• TABC certification is preferred for employees serving alcoholic beverages and may be required based on assigned duties
