Direct Counsel represents an AmLaw 50 firm seeking an experienced IP Trademark Paralegal to support its Trademark, Copyright & Branding Practice Group.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented IP professional with experience managing large domestic and international trademark portfolios.

The Role

• Manage domestic and international trademark portfolios.
• Prepare and file trademark applications with the USPTO and WIPO.
• Handle trademark prosecution, renewals, assignments, ownership transfers, and maintenance.
• Prepare and file TTAB proceedings and state trademark applications.
• Coordinate international filings, renewals, oppositions, cancellations, and enforcement matters with foreign counsel.
• Prepare and file copyright applications and ownership transfers.
• Manage domain name registrations and maintenance.
• Monitor watch notices and prepare client reports regarding trademark portfolios.
• Maintain IP dockets, deadlines, client portals, and document management systems.
• Assist with IP due diligence, UDRP actions, demand letters, customs recordation, and other special projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IP experience supporting large trademark portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of USPTO, WIPO, and international trademark procedures.
• Experience with IP docketing; CPi experience preferred.
• Proficiency with USPTO and WIPO filings.
• Paralegal Certificate required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
