Litigation Paralegal

We are a personal injury law firm that is growing fast. We are seeking an experienced Litigation or Personal Injury Paralegal to become part of our team. We file lawsuits and go to trial. Qualified candidates must be energetic, positive, thrive under pressure and possess the ability to work independently. Spanish speaker is a big plus. Must have 3 years experience of plaintiff's personal injury litigation paralegal role to be considered. Position is on site in our San Antonio office.  

Qualifications:

-Qualified candidates must be energetic, positive, thrive under pressure and possess the ability to work independently

-3 to 5 years of heavy litigation experience is required

-Strong understanding of litigation terms

-Case Management skills including managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines

-Superior organization skills

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical, problem solving and decision making skills

-Deadline and detail-oriented

Responsibilities:

-Conduct research to support legal proceedings

-Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents

-Drafting lawsuits, filing initial disclosures, propounding and responding to discovery

-Docket Management

-Trial Preparation
