Job Description

Title: Paralegal

Firm X’s Pine Brook office seeks an experienced full-time Paralegal. Health law experience preferred. Opportunity to work with multiple departments in the firm on complex life sciences and healthcare-related matters.

Responsibilities:

Research regulatory issues and prepare summaries, memos, and related documents
Draft, proofread and revise legal documents and other case material
Assist counsel with the submission of licensing applications and appeals
Assist counsel with audit review and response preparation
Conduct document review for litigation and government investigation related matters

Qualifications:

Health law experience preferred
BS/BA degree required
Paralegal certificate or equivalent paralegal curriculum
1+ years’ experience as a paralegal, required
1+ years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician, required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficient in Westlaw
Must be organized and detail-oriented
Excellent research skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management
