Warehouse Associate Responsibilities - Receive daily vendor shipments and enter receipts into the computer system
- Compare shipments against purchase orders and identify damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect items
- Stock and organize inventory on warehouse shelves
- Pull inventory and fill customer orders accurately
- Review open purchase orders and assist with expediting shipments
- Pick up shipments from local vendors and make local customer deliveries
- Provide backup support for shipping operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
- Package and label parts according to company specifications
- Package loose products for shipment to customers
- Verify products and quantities against customer orders
- Assemble kits and units using provided instructions
- Update the computer system when assembled units are completed
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and safely use a ladder
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Willingness to take direction from supervisors
- Basic computer skills and ability to enter information into databases
- Clean driving record
- Ability to safely drive a pickup truck
