EPA Maintenance Tech

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on maintenance professional with apartment maintenance experience who can respond to service requests, assist with unit turns, troubleshoot repairs, and help keep the community clean, functional, and resident-ready.

• Pay: Starting at $25/hr.
• Position Type: Full-Time / Temp / Temp-to-Hire
• Location: South Austin
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and general maintenance issues
• Support make-ready work and prepare vacant units for move-in
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repair tasks
• Help maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the community
• Work with property management and maintenance staff to prioritize daily work orders
• Provide excellent customer service to residents
• Assist with additional property maintenance as needed

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• EPA certification required
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance repairs
• Make-ready experience is a plus
• Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must provide valid identification and authorization to work in the United States
• Must complete the application and interview process
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
