Direct Counsel represents an AmLaw 100 firm seeking a talented Labor & Employment Associate to join its Management Labor Relations practice in St. Louis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a labor attorney who wants to advise sophisticated employers on complex union and labor relations matters while working with an experienced, collaborative national team.

The Role

• Advise employers on labor relations matters under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA).
• Represent clients in labor arbitrations and NLRB proceedings.
• Handle unfair labor practice charges and related disputes.
• Assist employers with union organizing campaigns and labor strategy.
• Participate in collective bargaining negotiations.
• Provide practical, strategic counsel on complex labor and employment issues.
• Work directly with clients and collaborate with attorneys across the firm's national practice.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the Management Labor Relations practice.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of labor relations and union experience.
• Experience advising employers under the NLRA.
• Experience with NLRB proceedings, labor arbitrations, collective bargaining, ULP charges, or union organizing.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, advocacy, and client counseling skills.
• Excellent judgment and ability to navigate complex matters.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and client-focused.
• J.D. and active Missouri Bar admission required.
