iOS Technical Architect

Location: Torrance, California, USA | Type: W2 Contract | Pay Rate: $65-$72/hour

Role Overview

This senior-level position requires 12+ years of experience leading enterprise iOS application architecture and technical excellence. The role involves defining technical roadmaps, establishing coding standards, and mentoring engineering teams while ensuring scalable, secure mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive overall iOS application architecture and technical roadmap
• Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical decision-making processes
• Establish coding standards, development guidelines, and engineering best practices
• Mentor senior developers and engineering teams on scalable iOS solutions
• Design modular architectures using Clean Architecture, MVVM, VIPER, or TCA patterns
• Implement secure coding practices including encryption, Keychain storage, and SSL Pinning
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant IT industry experience with significant iOS architecture and technical leadership
• Expert-level proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, Core Data, and Networking
• Strong expertise in Clean Architecture, MVVM, VIPER, or Modular Architecture patterns
• Experience with design patterns, dependency injection, and concurrency (Async/Await)
• Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, Fastlane, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Firebase mobile services and security best practices
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and third-party service integration
