Construction Litigation Legal Assistant

The Construction Litigation team is expanding and seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join a growing team handling sophisticated construction litigation matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned legal professional who values fast-paced litigation support collaborative teamwork and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage heavy calendar scheduling and coordinate hearings depositions and other litigation-related appointments with accuracy and efficiency
• Proofread and provide document production services including preparing files for hearings and e-filing pleadings and other documents with state and federal courts
• Enter attorney time and review attorney bills ensuring accuracy and timely submission
• Open new files process conflict checks and maintain organized case files in support of the litigation team

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal assistant experience in a large law firm or corporate legal setting required; construction litigation experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to support a high-volume litigation practice including court filing procedures and deadline management
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with e-filing platforms and case management systems
