Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Location: Aspirus Ashland Clinic. This outpatient physical therapy role involves treating a diverse patient population with a wide variety of conditions in a busy rural clinic setting. The position offers flexible daytime shifts and the opportunity to provide high-quality care within a community-focused healthcare environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Responsible for treating an average of 8-10 patients per day across a broad spectrum of orthopedic and neurological conditions. The contractor must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility. Contract length is 13 weeks, starting as soon as possible, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Masters Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT); active Wisconsin Physical Therapist license; BLS or ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; at least 1 year of general outpatient physical therapy or orthopedic skills; minimum of 0 years of experience; flexible shift schedule of 8-10 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 0700 am to 530 pm; ability to treat a wide variety of conditions in a busy outpatient rural clinic setting.
- Additional Information: The role involves treating all age ranges except pediatrics beyond basic orthopedic conditions, with some neuro cases included. Charting experience with Epic is preferred. The position requires a hard-working, resilient individual who manages change well and can work independently and efficiently in a social, team-oriented environment. During flu season, any traveler who declines flu and COVID vaccinations must wear a mask at all times, following Aspirus policy.
