Job Details- Type: Travel assignment
- Setting: Hospital cath lab / invasive cardiovascular procedures
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week, Monday through Friday as assigned
- Daily Hours: Approximately 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Call Requirements: At least one weekday call shift per week, plus every 4th weekend; additional call coverage may be needed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,380 - $2,550
- Location: Lima, Ohio 45801
- Work Environment: High-acuity procedural area with opportunities to work across scrub, monitor, and float roles
- No work experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS required or PALS preferred at hire, depending on assignment needs
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required
- ARRT or RCIS accepted for consideration based on assignment requirements
- Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures and advanced interventional support devices strongly preferred
- Ability to remain flexible, dependable, and effective in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
- Comfort working with patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
- Assist physicians during cardiovascular and invasive diagnostic/interventional procedures
- Perform confidently in scrub, monitor, and float roles as part of the procedural team
- Support patient care before, during, and after procedures with a focus on safety and quality
- Operate and monitor imaging and hemodynamic equipment according to established protocols
- Document patient data accurately in the electronic medical record and angiographic systems
- Help manage inventory, equipment, and procedure room readiness
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Assist with moderate sedation support under physician supervision when applicable
- Provide care for a range of procedures, which may include PCI, IABP, Impella, FFR, IVUS, pacemakers, EP studies, structural heart cases, ECMO, Tandem Heart, and neuro-interventional procedures
- Maintain a professional, adaptable approach while supporting a high-performing interdisciplinary team
- Work in a high-acuity cath lab setting with strong clinical exposure
