Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and assist patients in improving mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
Responsibilities
· Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
· Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to patients.
· Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
· Assist patients with improving strength, balance, coordination, and mobility.
· Maintain accurate and timely patient treatment documentation.
· Educate patients and families on prescribed exercises and treatment plans.
· Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and healthcare regulations.
· Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Requirements
· Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Maryland.
· Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
· Previous clinical experience is preferred.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
· Current BLS/CPR certification may be required
