Summary
Leads contracted aircraft seating programs from planning through execution, coordinating cross-functional and global teams to achieve customer, technical, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage program strategies, schedules, milestones, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
  • Create program plans, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)-based master schedules, forecasts, and departmental budget allocations.
  • Monitor schedule and budget performance, identify risks or delays, implement recovery plans, and report program status to executive management.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure program objectives are achieved within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Serve as a key customer interface for technical, contractual, schedule, and program matters.
  • Support RFQ and quoting activities by coordinating technical scope, requirements, and budget input with Sales and Marketing.
  • Manage scope and contract changes, evaluate cost impacts, and provide recommendations to Sales and Marketing for customer negotiations.
  • Coordinate technical and certification data requirements with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Lead program kickoff, milestone, design, and customer meetings, including ITCM, PDR, and CDE.
  • Ensure departmental resource and manpower plans support program requirements and delivery commitments.
  • Apply program/project management best practices and maintain effective communication with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or equivalent education/experience; engineering degree preferred. Typically 5+ years of program management experience in the aircraft industry.
  • Strong program planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical, financial, and contractual information and manage multiple complex priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer-facing, presentation, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional activities and interact effectively with employees, customers, suppliers, and executive management.
  • Moderate domestic and international travel may be required.
  • Successful completion of required pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
