Job Description
ACS System Associates Inc. is currently seeking experienced HVAC Technician to join and become an integral part of our team. You must possess a strong knowledge base of HVAC installation and troubleshooting skills, as well as have a solid understanding of related controls and building automation systems (DDC).
This is a non-union position.
Selected candidate will be a team player who can complete tasks that include but are not limited to:
- Refrigeration Equipment pressure test, vacuum, and charging
- Ability to start up and troubleshoot VFDs and Starters
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Air-Conditioning, Heating, Water Source Heat Pumps & Rooftop Packaged HVAC Systems, split systems, chillers, controls, BMS, etc.
- Refrigeration Equipment pressure test, vacuum and charging
- Familiarity with BMS integration. This includes both hardware and software component
REQUIREMENTS * High school diploma and technical school training
- EPA Universal certification-608
- OSHA 40-hour SST
- Valid driver's license
- Daiken and Mitsubishi experience is a plus but not required
- NATE Certified is a plus
