Growing pharmacy in Sachse Texas is looking to hire an experienced Pharmacy Technician with good customer service skills. Willing to train a Pharmacy Tech in Training (Trainee) if the person has good skills working with customers and good computer skills - All candidates must be registered with the state of Texas.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. In this role, you will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently

- Maintain proper inventory levels and order medications and supplies as needed

- Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to clarify prescription information and address any concerns

- Help resolve insurance and billing issues

- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and offering guidance when needed

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Adhere to all pharmacy laws and regulations, including HIPAA guidelines

- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on industry developments and best practices


Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Trainee Required

- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and terminology preferred

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a high-volume setting

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team - stay busy and be responsible at all times

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if needed
