General Labourer (swimming pool open/close)

The General Labourer plays a vital role in the seasonal opening and closing of swimming pools, ensuring clients swimming pools are ready for use and properly winterized. This hands-on position involves handling equipment and products, working alongside a small team, and performing tasks in varying weather conditions. The role includes additional seasonal duties such as facility cleaning and requires physical stamina, reliability, and a commitment to safety. On-the-job training is provided to support success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Open and close swimming pools according to seasonal schedules
• Handle and transport equipment and pool products up to 50lbs
• Work weekdays and Saturdays to support pool operations
• Perform facility cleaning and other seasonal maintenance tasks
• Operate safely and efficiently under varying weather conditions
• Collaborate within a small team of 2-5 members

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in general labor
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical stamina to handle manual tasks
• Basic equipment handling skills
• Effective time management abilities
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
