The Fire Alarm and Security Service Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of commercial and industrial facilities by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire alarm and security systems. Operating primarily within small teams, this technician handles a variety of traditional and advanced security technologies, traveling occasionally to different sites to deliver expert service and compliance assurance. Experience with access control and CCTV surveillance systems enhances the ability to provide integrated security solutions tailored to diverse client needs.

Responsibilities

• Install fire alarm and security systems, including conventional, addressable, integrated, and hybrid solutions
• Perform routine maintenance, testing, and inspections to ensure system functionality and compliance
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system faults promptly and effectively
• Document service activities, system upgrades, and compliance checks accurately
• Support customers by providing technical assistance and guidance on system operation
• Coordinate occasional travel to multiple commercial and industrial sites as required
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Fire Alarm License
