CULTIVATION, PROCESSING, TECHNICIAN

JOB SUMMARY

The Technician supports cultivation, production, and packaging of medical cannabis products within a Florida‐licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center (MMTC). This position ensures all medical cannabis is cultivated, processed, packaged, and documented in full compliance with (OMMU) regulations. The primary responsibility of the TECHNICIAN is to cultivate, produce and package medical cannabis products in preparation for testing and distribution. The Technician must maintain high quality standards, strict regulatory compliance, and consistent production output while operating within a controlled and highly regulated environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Cultivate Cannabis Plants Indoors and Outdoors (Greenhouse and Shadehouse structures.
• Harvest, Trim, and Package Cannabis Flower and biomass.
• Fill cannabis oils and formulations into various products.
• Package and label all cannabis and non-cannabis items, including weighing and packing of flower. products, packaging of edibles and concentrates.
• Operate, clean, and maintain assigned equipment.
• Complete production orders with consistency and quality while maintaining reasonable speed
• Keep accurate records at all steps in process to maintain quality and control of regulated product.
• Awareness and adherence to GMP regulations and company SOPs.
• Be aware of quality and compliance standards each product type.
• Maintain proper PPE and hygiene for work in a clean room environment.
• Perform other tasks in support of other departments as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Check (FBI) prior to employment.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position, standing, 80% of the time or more.
• Must be able to carry up to 50lbs up a flight of stairs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work cleanly and efficiently.
• Must be responsible and self-managed.
• Must have excellent follow-up and tracking skills.
• Ability to work both individually and in teams.
• Flexibility to switch tasks as production goals change.

PREFERRED:

• Experience working in a licensed cannabis production facility.
• General manufacturing or packaging experience.
• Degree preferred but not required.
