Ophthalmic Technician – Advanced Eye Center

Advanced Eye Center is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Ophthalmic Technician to join our clinical team. This position assists physicians with patient care by performing preliminary eye testing, obtaining medical histories, documenting patient information, and preparing patients for examination and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and document patient medical and ocular histories
• Perform preliminary vision and diagnostic testing
• Check visual acuity, pressures, and other required measurements
• Dilate patients and prepare them for physician examinations
• Assist physicians with procedures and patient care
• Accurately document information in the electronic medical record
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms
• Provide friendly, professional service to patients
• Assist with other clinical duties as needed

Previous ophthalmic or medical experience is preferred, but training may be provided for the right candidate.
