Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Plater to join our Operations team in Billerica, MA. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will operate plating and anodizing process lines to produce high-quality finishes that meet customer specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience in plating, anodizing, metal finishing, or a related manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing quality work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate plating and anodizing process lines according to established procedures.
• Review job travelers, blueprints, work instructions, and process specifications.
• Rack, wire, mask, clean, and properly prepare parts for processing.
• Perform basic calculations involving surface area, current density, voltage, and processing time.
• Monitor tank temperatures, agitation, and other process conditions.
• Inspect finished parts and verify coating thickness using micrometers and XRF equipment.
• Work closely with Quality and Operations teams to meet production schedules.
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Follow all safety, chemical-handling, environmental, and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications

• 1 year of plating/anodizing or metal-finishing experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating plating or anodizing process lines preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, job travelers, and technical specifications.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Comfortable working with industrial chemicals and following safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Mil-Spec or Nadcap experience is a plus.
• Must be available to work 1st shift/day shift.
• Must be able to work in person at our Billerica, MA facility.
• English proficiency required.
