Job Title: HVAC Technician

Location: Bellefonte, Pennsylvania — In-Person

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Starting pay Range: $22–$30/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting both HVAC equipment, mainly heat pumps. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a variety of environments — from rooftops to mechanical rooms.This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in HVAC and renewable energy. There is opportunity for cross training with solar energy and energy storage equipment. 

Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems (ducted and ductless).
  
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related issues.
  
• Conduct preventative maintenance and performance checks.
  
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  
• Maintain accurate job documentation and service records.
  
• Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety procedures.
  
• Work collaboratively with project managers, electricians, and other team members.
  
• Travel to job sites locally and occasionally overnight (up to once a quarter)
  
  

Qualifications:

• Required:
• • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in HVAC.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
    
    
• Preferred:
• • OSHA 10 certification.
  • EPA 608 certification (Type II, or Universal).
  • HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent technical training.
  • Experience with inverter-based mini-splits or PV system troubleshooting.
