Dishwasher / Prep Cook

The Olympic Tavern, Rockford's original neighborhood tavern & restaurant has been family owned & operated since 1945, and we are currently hiring for a talented, motivated new team member to join us as dishwasher and part time line/prep cook.

We are looking for team members with at least two years of experience at a high volume restaurant, but we will train the right candidate if you're eager to learn. The right candidate will know how to work clean, be organized, detail oriented, as well as a fast learner with a sense of urgency. If you do not already have your foodservice sanitation license, you will need to obtain one within 60 days of hiring. We're looking for someone who will be able to get along with their team members and take direction from managers, maintaining clean dishware, organizing and cleaning dish, prep storage areas, setting up and breaking down the kitchen, keeping a clean work space, stocking, prep, and cooking are just a few of your job duties.

We will have part time hours to start, with potential full time available after a training/tryout period -- nights and weekend shifts are available, but we may have a few prep / lunch / pizza shifts available as well. Compensation begins at $15.50+/hour depending on skill set, raises and scheduled hours will be based on performance. All applicants will need to provide current ID and residency info.
