Veterinary Technician

Join our growing small-animal practice as a Veterinary Technician and put your skills to meaningful use every day. You’ll work closely with our veterinarians and supportive team while also having the independence to take ownership of your responsibilities. This hands-on position offers a rewarding variety of duties, including patient care,  laboratory sample collection, medication administration, client education, and assistance with surgical and dental procedures. We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to a fast-paced practice where every team member makes a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive animal care and comfort
• Collect samples and perform laboratory testing
• Assist during surgical procedures
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes
• Sterilize and maintain medical equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient care

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in veterinary technology
• Associate degree in Veterinary Technology or related field
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
• Proficient in animal handling and laboratory testing
• Experienced in surgical assistance and patient monitoring
• Knowledge of pharmacology and record keeping
• Strong team collaboration and problem-solving skills
