Veterinary Assistant/Technician

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
• Obtain and update patient records
• Assist with billing and processing payments
• Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization
• Strong computer and technology skills
• Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
• Take radiographs and perform laboratory tests as needed
• Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
• Provide compassionate care and support to both animals and their owners
• Running in-house laboratory work
• Radiology assistance
• Patient restraint and handling
• Medication preparation and administration
• Client education and discharge instructions
