Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Maintenance Technician to support and maintain production tools in our wafer manufacturing line. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced cleanroom environment, demonstrates initiative, and works effectively both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities P erform preventive and corrective maintenance on wafer fabrication tools using established procedures and on-the-job training (OJT). Accurately document all maintenance activities in tool logbooks and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Troubleshoot and repair equipment to identify root causes and ensure long-term reliability. Support Tool Owners and Equipment Engineers in improving tool performance and uptime. Maintain comprehensive records, including PM checklists, part usage, and maintenance history. Continuously develop technical skills and certifications through formal and informal training. Follow all cleanroom and safety protocols while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Required: S trong electro-mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance skills. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills. Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality work. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for extended periods (12-hour shifts). Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed. Preferred: E xperience with semiconductor wafer fab equipment (Photo, Thin Films, Plating, Etch, CMP). (Bonus) Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. (Bonus) Knowledge of control systems and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). (Bonus) Familiarity with failure analysis, root cause determination, and repair documentation. Experience using DVMs (Digital Voltmeters) and standard mechanical hand tools . Key Skills and Attributes: Ent ry-level experience in equipment maintenance or related field. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Understanding of electrical safety and operational theory. Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision. Collaborative mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement. Education: T echnical degree in Electronics, ASE Certified Mechanic, Military experience (Electro/Mechanical), or Semiconductor Industries experience. Education: Associate's Degree
