Reach Truck Operator

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Reach Truck Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling materials within the warehouse, ensuring the smooth operation of shipping and receiving processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Read shipping orders and accurately pick orders.
• Load and unload items onto and off pallets, skids, or other lifting devices.
• Sort and place material on racks, shelves, or in bins.
• Lift, count, and sort items on pallets according to order fill instructions.
• Prepare and record order fill tickets and load sheets.
• Weigh and count items for distribution within the plant.
• Ensure that all material handling is done in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work area.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 15 lbs constantly.
• Ability to work in a cold, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

Qualifications:

• 6+ months of experience operating a reach truck forklift.
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
