Branch Operations Manager - Industrial Distribution

Job Summary:

An established industrial distribution company is seeking an experienced Branch Operations Manager to lead daily operations at a busy branch in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing warehouse, production, inventory, shipping and receiving, and other branch operations within an industrial, technical, or distribution environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily operations across production, inventory, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and counter sales.
• Manage, coach, schedule, and develop a team of approximately 6–7 employees.
• Coordinate production, assembly, and order fulfillment activities to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain strong inventory accuracy through cycle counts, receiving controls, and disciplined transaction processing.
• Ensure inbound and outbound orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Improve workflow, operating procedures, communication, and accountability across the branch.
• Support customer-facing and counter sales activities as operational needs require.
• Oversee equipment and shop maintenance to help ensure machinery and work areas remain safe and operational.
• Participate in hiring, performance management, employee development, and staffing decisions.
• Partner with sales and senior leadership to improve customer service, productivity, safety, and overall branch performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience managing branch, warehouse, shop, distribution, or industrial operations.
• Experience leading multiple operational functions, including warehouse, inventory, shipping and receiving, and production.
• Proven experience leading, coaching, developing, and holding employees accountable.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, cycle counting, receiving accuracy, and order fulfillment.
• Experience improving processes, workflow, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work closely with employees and step in when needed.
• Experience coordinating equipment maintenance and troubleshooting operational issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and inventory or business management systems.

Preferred:

• Experience in industrial distribution, fluid power, hydraulics, or related technical products.
• Experience with hose assemblies, fittings, valves, couplings, pumps, cylinders, or other fluid-handling components.
• Hands-on familiarity with hydraulic and fluid power products.
• Experience supporting production or final assembly operations.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills.

Location: Miami, Florida

Compensation: $75,000–$80,000 base salary, plus an annual performance bonus, car allowance, and comprehensive benefits.
