Floater/Teacher's Assistant

We are looking for a dependable, flexible, and caring Floating Preschool Teacher to provide support throughout our preschool.

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom coverage for breaks, lunches, and staff absences.
• Work with infants, toddlers, preschool, and VPK-aged children.
• Maintain proper supervision and teacher-to-child ratios.
• Assist with activities, meals, naps, diapering/toileting, and transitions.
• Follow classroom schedules, lesson plans, and school policies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe classrooms.
• Use positive and age-appropriate classroom management.
• Assist wherever needed throughout the school.

Qualifications:

• Must meet Florida DCF childcare requirements.
• Childcare experience preferred.
• Must pass required background screening.
• CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Must be reliable, patient, flexible, and a team player.

The ideal candidate is comfortable moving between classrooms and is always willing to jump in and help where needed.
