Receiving Clerk

Job Description

If you enjoy staying organized and keeping warehouse operations running efficiently, this Receiving Clerk opportunity may be a great fit. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. In this role, you'll help ensure incoming shipments are received accurately, inventory is properly documented, and products are ready to move through the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming shipments and deliveries
• Verify quantities, labels, packing slips, and purchase orders for accuracy
• Enter receiving information into the warehouse computer system
• Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate inventory and receiving records
• Assist with picking, packing, and stocking inventory as needed
• Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment as assigned
• Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and safe
• Work closely with warehouse and shipping teams to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications

• Previous receiving and computer experience required
• Warehouse receiving experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred or willingness to learn
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to accurately process shipments in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy materials throughout the shift
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties
